Humans have been using oil to bring light for tens of thousands of years. The approach was simple and effective, but it was hard to adjust the flame.
Precision Wick Adjustment (Patent Pending)
Control your flame with PermaFlame’s patent-pending gear mechanism. Rotate the gears to raise or lower the wick without touching the oil. Create a soft glow or a brighter flame—it's up to you. Single Flame or Twin Flame
The single flame version has a gear handle that rises above the level of the oil, allowing you to adjust the height of the wick without reaching into the oil. The twin flame version has the fine adjustment gears, but must the mechanism must be lifted up and the gears turned manually using a coin or screwdriver. The twin flame is a little brighter, but also burns oil twice as fast as the single flame.

Proudly crafted in America: the glass is made by Anchor Hocking in Ohio, and the precision wick mechanism is made from Carbon Fiber reinforced high temperature nylon in Colorado.
