PermaFlame sustainable multi-fuel oil candle

PEACEFUL FLAME: The PermaFlame oil candle burns with a stable consistent flame to create a feeling of peace in your home. Unlike a wax candle where the flame moves down as the candle burns, the flame is always at the perfect height: enough below the rim of the glass to offer some protection from the surrounding air currents, and high enough to allow oxygen to freely feed the flame, consistently providing the perfect flame. It’s great for meditation or to lend a warm ambiance to your home or bedroom.

PRECISION WICK ADJUSTMENT (Patent Pending): The height of the wick determines the size of the flame. A taller wick creates a larger flame and will burn more oil. A shorter wick will create a smaller flame and burn less oil. Adjust the wick by using the handle on the worm gear to rotate the wick gears without having to get oil on your hands. 

SUSTAINABLE LOW COST OPERATION: This candle can use any food oil, including used or rancid cooking oil, creating a sustainable low cost fuel option. We recommend a liquid food oil to minimize indoor toxic fumes like you get with paraffin candles. The candle burns about 15ml (1 tbsp) of oil in 3 hours with a medium flame, and can burn over 10 hours without refilling the oil. By burning used cooking oil, you may never have to buy oil for your candle again. Don’t throw out your used cooking oil, turn it into light! 

REDUCE TOXIC FUMES: Many people have switched from cheap paraffin candles to more expensive Beeswax or Soy candles to reduce their exposure to toxic fumes from burning a petroleum product. Using food oil will give you cleaner air without the high price of beeswax and soy candles. Because the oil is only heated at the last moment before it ignites, no food smells are released (Same reason it doesn’t work as an aromatherapy diffuser). 

MADE IN USA: The glass is manufactured by Anchor Hocking in Ohio, who’ve been making glass products since 1905. The wick mechanism is manufactured in Colorado. Properly used, this candle will LAST FOREVER, just add oil as needed and replace the wick every 80 hours or so. The provided wick is standard 4mm cotton wick.
